Anh Ngo

Founding Partner

Anh has more than 22 years of experience in the field. Prior to founding Hyperion in 2017, Anh was Managing Director of Investment Banking and Head of M&A Advisory for Military Bank Securities, and from 2010 to 2017, she was Vice President of Investment Banking for VPBank Securities. From 2007 to 2010, Anh worked as an advisor in charge of corporate finance at Habubank Securities. Between 2001 and 2007, she worked as auditor and head of financial audit at AASC and Cimeico auditing firm.

Anh is highly experienced in M&A advisory, underwriting and bond/stock trading. Her experience in investment banking includes: renewable energy development; real estate investment; industrial companies; bank restructurings; retail and distribution. Some of her work includes the VND 5,000 billion issuance of bond for a large SOE, VND 1,000 billion issuance of bond for a large private conglomerate group , VND 2,000 billion issuance of bond for the large private bank, VND 2,000 billion issuance of bond for a large bank, M&As worth of VND 6,000 billion.

Linh Ho, CFA, CAIA

Founding Partner

Linh has over 15 years of experience in Finance and Securities. He holds both buy-side and sell-side roles throughout his career. Prior to founding Hyperion in 2017, Linh was Vice President of Investment Banking at MB Securities and Senior Associate at VPBank Securites. Before joining VPBS and MBS, Linh worked as an investment analyst at the Dallas Police and Fire Pension System, in which he helped manage the Real Estate and Infrastructure portfolio worth $3.4 billion USD.

His experience in investment banking includes: renewable energy development; real estate investment; industrial companies; bank restructurings; retail and distribution, healthcare, and technology. He has arranged over US$3 billion in corporate bonds, US$120 million in private placements and successfully advised on M&A transactions totaling US$140 million.

Linh holds MBA Degree from Texas Christian University. Linh is Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) Charterholder.

Phan Nguyen

Managing Partner

Phan has over 21 years of experience in Finance and Securities.  Prior to founding Hyperion in 2018, Phan was Head of Large Size Corporate Banking Service at TPBank and Investment Banking Manager at VPBank Securites. 

Mr. Phan have profound experience in Vietnam M&A market and have many years of experience with large corporation clients. His experience in investment banking includes: renewable energy development; real estate investment; industrial companies; bank restructurings; retail and distribution. Some of his work includes billions worth of transaction value ranging Private placement, Convertible bond issuance, State bond trading,  Bond primary issuance, Straight equity issuance,  Loan offering & arrangement, and IPO.

Phan holds MBA Degree from Quebec University, Canada, and a Bachelor Degree from Foreign Trade University. 

Ken Cao

Senior Associate

Prior to joining Hyperion in 2017, Duc (Ken) was working as an investment banking associate at MB Securities and VPBank Securities. Before that, he was an audit assistant at KPMG Vietnam. His experience in investment banking includes: renewable energy development, real estate investment, and retail.

Duc (Ken) holds Bachelor of Business at RMIT University. He passed level 2 of CFA designation.

Duc Anh Nguyen, FRM

Senior Associate

Prior to joining Hyperion in 2017, Duc Anh was working as an investment banking associate at MB Securities and VPBank Securities. His experience in investment banking includes: renewable energy development, technology, and real estate investment.

Duc Anh holds Bachelor Degree of Business Administration from Green Mountain College, USA. Duc Anh is Certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM).
